Humourization!!!
Ive noticed that i always take a humourous approach to everything. Happy, Sad, sarchastic, grief, accidents, pains, insults.... EVERYTHING!
My memory is so down the drain and my humour usually saves the day.
One of the incidents that my memory gave up on me and my humour saved me was the time when i went in to my company chairman to pay my respects for one of his inlaws death. Im not really fluent when it comes to paying respects... so i learn what i want to say like "elbaka2 lellah" and keep repeating it in my head with nothing else to distract me. On my way to his office... i asked his secretary if he was inside and she said yes go ahead. Upon setting foot in his office.. my mind went blank... the my mouth blurted something that i honestly dont know where it came from. While i had my most serious face and grieving face possible i said "Happy New Year". He smiled and said... same to you. But ofcourse i was on the ground laughing at my goofy.. and so was he. When i went on to explain between laughter tears that what i meant to say was elbakka2 lellah... it only got funnier.
This was 2 years ago and to this day he passes by me and says.. "happy new year" :))
Another incident was when i went to my aunts place and she obviously had bumped her foot onto one of her large wooden saloon chairs and just broken a toe (not toenail). She was in soooo much pain and called on to me saying.." Come look what happened to my toe". As soon as i looked at her toe that pointed to the complete opposite direction from the other toes i couldnt help but laugh. I laughed so hard telling her that it reminded me of Tom and Jerry when tom hit his head and looked like an iron!!! Despite her pain She laughed so hard.
Another time i was at my inlaws house and they own a roof that has a bergola and a seating arrangement under it. My husband was on the phone outside and while i was walking away from the bergola seating area and stumbled over one of the bergola's iron bars close to the ground... i fell face down with a thud. My husband just ran towards me to check on me. Looking at the back of my head and not knowing whether i was crying in pain or just dead... i looked up with tearful eyes laughing my head off. He looked at my knee and sure enough it was bloody and scrapped but nevertheless we just laughed it off.
The latest incident was ofcourse one of many incidents with my daughter when i was feeding her and she kept on accumalating the food at the back of her mouth... then her nose simply itched and she sneezed.... Do i need to say more!!! We laughed it off and took a group shower!! :)))
SO many incidents were just taken in a lighter mood because of laughter.
I know that not everything should be taken in a humourous way... but i think it really helps. I hope Leen turns out to take things lightly too or i personally think she would be depressed most her life!!:)))
Life's too short to cry out loud...LOL! ;)
