More weird questions

Today while i was on my way to work on the company bus.. i was listening to that program called "Bareed al islam" or islamic posts where the host reads out two questions that he received by mail and then two sheikhs answer them.

Todays questions were:
Q1. A woman asking if it isnt ok for her to ask her husband to clean up and look good for her after he comes from work! She was saying that he tells her she is an unappreciative wife and a bad one too!!!

A1. The sheikh ofcourse told her that it is his duty to look good for you and vice versa.. and that the prophet PBUH has recommended that men do this for their wives so they wouldnt be repulsed by them and feel bad in living with them.

Honestly... what kinda man is that anyway... he doesnt wanna take a quick shower and wear some perfume?? Forget about his wife,... doesnt he feel sick to the stomache?? If he is sweating and all messed up in his dirty clothes from an all days work?
Anyway... i thought maybe the wife asks him for this request in a bad way (like i think lots of woman are dumb enough to do) Maybe thats why he is angry with her.. coz imagine he comes in all tired and dripping sweat and she says... why dont you get up off your ass and take a shower you pig!! You STINK! :)) OK no matter how sick i feel... i will definitely ne annoyed with her! :) Anyway... its just a possibility!

Q2. A man was saying that when he was "conceived" and was a baby in his mummy's tummy she went for pilgrimage (Hajj). And ever since then he was always referred as "Haj" as a nickname for someone who went for pilgrimage. Then his question was...does that mean i dont have to go for hajj and that this task is now off my shoulders since my mom did that when she was pregnant?

A2. The sheikh ofcourse answered saying that unless you went for pilgrimage after puberty then it is not counted as one. And that the main reason for going after growing up is to feel the spirituality of the experience and be old enough to remember it in your heart and soul.

My bus (or most of it) laughed their heads off on the question. I mean it could be valid if a 9 year old asked it... but an adult man! Im not sure!! Maybe this letter really came from a 9 year old
WHO KNOWS!!

I just like hearing these questions and listening to how ppl think and how much they wanna know and how much they DONT know...OH and ofcourse how much they THINK they Know!! :)

It's plain fun!
